What is 7 Keto ? Where Does It Come From ?

The term 7-Keto DHEA is actually short for the chemical compound 3-acetyl-7-oxo-dehydroeplandros-terone.

7-Keto, discovered in 1958, is a derivative of the hormone DHEA, which regulates the body's metabolism. DHEA is a "parent hormone" produced by glands near the kidneys, Unlike DHEA, 7-Keto is not turned into steroid like hormones such as testosterone and estrogen. This makes it much safer to take, with much lower health risks and many benefits. Some studies have suggested that 7-Keto can provide the benefits of DHEA, like improved immunity, lower cholesterol and blood pressure and help with dieting, with almost no side effects.

Why Is 7-Keto Replacement is Needed For Your Body

Especially After Age 50

The levels of 7-Keto in our blood rise until about 20 years of age. They stay steady until around 30, and then slowly taper off and by the time you are age 50, the7-Keto in your blood is only half of what it was at age 20. This reduction is a big part of why we tend to gain weight as we age. It is also one of the reasons we have less and less energy as we grow older.

This is the reason that 7-Keto replacement is so important. 7-Keto speeds up the metabolism and heat production and helps slow down or eliminate weight gain associated with aging. It also may help to increase the activity of the thyroid gland, help the immune system grow stronger, and slow the aging process.

How does 7 Keto Help to Reduce Your Body's Fat Stores?

Thermogenesis

The metabolism produces heat, and helps reduce fat by in a process called thermogenesis. If thermogenesis is increased, the higher the fat reduction. 7-KETO is a thermogenic agent. By taking it your body's metabolic rate will increase, decreasing the amount of the stores of fat in your body, most notably in the stomach area.

A study published in Current Therapeutic Research followed 30 overweight adults. Half were given 7-Keto and have a placebo. All variables being equal, the participants given the 7-Keto not only lost three times more weight, the weight they lost was 1.8 % fat, compared to the .57% in the placebo group. Thyroid activity was also significantly increased, in the group that were given the 7-Keto.

The conclusion of the study was: 7-Keto Naturalean combined with a reduced-calorie diet and an exercise program resulted in a significant weight loss compared with diet and exercise alone.
